Dear Esteemed Professors and Doctoral Students,

Greetings!

To cultivate research talent in the fields of humanities and social sciences, the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) offers a fellowship to encourage doctoral candidates with research potential to focus on writing their dissertations. This aims to enhance the quality of dissertations and academic research standards. The "Guidelines for the Fellowship for Doctoral Candidates in the Humanities and Social Sciences" has been established for this purpose. The fellowship period is from August 1 of the current year to July 31 of the following year, with a total stipend of NT$480,000.

The NSTC generally accepts applications for this fellowship every March. To help doctoral students better understand the application process and execution strategies, the Office of Research and Development has invited this year's recipients and their advisors to share their successful application experiences and preparation tips.
