The primary responsibilities of university-level research centers are: to promote academic research, consolidate research, develop research methods, and utilize research results. NCCU has established the following research centers to highlight our institution's strength in Humanities and Social Sciences: Institute of International Relations; Election Study Center; Centre for Innovative Democracy; Research Center for Mind, Brain, and Learning; Humanities Research Center; Center for Creativity and Innovative Studies; Taiwan Studies Center; Center for Aboriginal Studies; and Center for the Study of Chinese Religions and Interdisciplinary Artificial Intelligence Center. These elite academic research centers are staffed and administered by some of the highest ranking academics in each of their respective fields.
