How do undergraduate students apply for internal university scholarships after applying for the NSTC Research Project?

I. Application Period: After the completion of the NSTC application process (approx. early March).

II. Applicant (Student): 1. Online Form: Please fill out the "National Chengchi University Application Form for Encouraging Undergraduate Students to Apply for NSTC Research Projects" online.

  • Path: University Website → iNCCU → Campus Information System → University Administration System Web Portal → Student Information System → Academic Services → Academic Research Grants → Fill out Application Forms → Encouraging Undergraduate Students to Apply for NSTC Research Projects → Fill out Application Form → Save → Submit Online → Print Application Form.

2. Submission: The aforementioned application form must be accompanied by the following supporting documents, signed by the Advisor and the Department/Institute Head, and submitted to the College Case Officer.

  • Required Supporting Documents:
    1. Proof of completion of the application procedure for the NSTC Undergraduate Student Research Project:
      • (1) NSTC Undergraduate Student Research Grant Application Form (General Information Form C801)
      • (2) Research Proposal (Research Project Abstract Form C802)
    2. Other documents (as required by the specific College).

III. Grant Amount:

  1. Amounts: Students may apply for this internal grant after completing the NSTC application procedure.
    • Completed NSTC Application: A maximum grant of NT$5,000 per project.
    • Approved by NSTC: An additional maximum grant of NT$5,000 per project.
    • Advisors: An advising fee of NT$4,000 per project.
  2. Quota: The University funds a maximum of 200 projects per year. The quota for each College is calculated based on performance indicators such as the number of undergraduate students in the previous year, the number of applications submitted to the NSTC, and the approval rate.

IV. Disbursement Timeline: After the University receives the approval notice from the NSTC (approx. late June), the respective College will compile the roster and disburse the funds to the students in accordance with regulations.
